If you want more information on how to deal with depression or if you think you know someone who might be suffering depression, the New Zealand Guidelines Group (NZGG) have a booklet available. 

They also have a very helpful booklet on what to do if you are having suicidal thoughts.

They provide free information and training, and advocate for policies and services that support people with experience of mental illness, and also their families/whanau and friends.


They have offices throughout the country and their website site has an extensive resource section where you can search for resources on depression.
