This website helps New Zealanders recognise and understand depression and anxiety. We want to reduce the impact that depression and anxiety have on the lives of New Zealanders by encouraging early recognition and help-seeking.
This website is full of ideas and stories to help people with depression and anxiety get to a better place.

Funding and Partners
This website is part of a national public health programme, the National Depression Initiative. It is a component of the New Zealand government’s approach to suicide prevention. The programme is managed by the Health Promotion Directorate, Te Whatu Ora. It is supported by partners Homecare Medical and FCB New Zealand.
This website has a partner site, The Lowdown, and is designed to help young New Zealanders understand and deal with depression and anxiety.
